This five-day or 40-hour course is required for nominated safety officers/practitioners or those whose work revolves about safety and health in the Philippine place of work. It covers key OSH concepts, philosophies and practices. Participants of the course learns to determine existing and potential safety and health hazards; identify the array of control measures; deliberate relevant requirements of Philippine OSHC standards; illuminate key principles in efficiently communicating OSH; identify components of effective OSH programs and demonstrate some skills in identifying hazards and corresponding control measures at the workplace.
Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) is the 40-hour mandatory course for safety practitioners of numerous contractors, technical employees of construction firms and all professionals whose work revolves around work safety and health in construction work sites. It is also a prerequisite for recognition as safety practitioners in the construction industry in the Philippines. It challenges key OSH concepts, philosophies and practices that are necessities in the construction industry.
The review is carried out in two stages. Firstly by reviewing a businesses current policies, procedures, records and documentation, in conjunction with personnel responsible for managing and coordinating health and safety documentation and arrangements. Secondly, we undertake a tour of the workplace in order to examine the physical conditions and potential hazards existing at the location in question.
The scope here is subject to three distinct parts.
By carrying out risk assessments and making sure you communicate the findings to your employees, you’ll be complying with the law. Unlike many other consultants we help to complete the assessments by working with you and assisting in the implementation of control measures.
An assessment of maintenance/inspection processes which involve high risk activities, and can prepare safe systems of work, permits to work and site/job specific assessments.
This will ensure you meet your environmental responsibilities, maximize resources, minimize your energy and waste, save money and run a sustainable environmentally efficient business.
A conventional ‘health and safety management’ based approach is adopted when assessing psychological risks and considering control measures to minimize stress as an occupational hazard.
One of the most important aspects of fire safety in buildings. In order to carry that out correctly, it is important to ensure that there is a fire safety management plan for the building.
